About the role
We are currently seeking four Advisory Board members for our Migration Issue, dedicated to amplifying voices and stories around migration and its intersections with systemic issues, such as racism, in so-called Australia.
Advisory Board members will provide strategic guidance on the stories commissioned for this issue, as well as review content, aligned to Rally’s mission of expanding empathy and fostering action.

Content and contributor advice: To review a proposed content and contributor list, and provide feedback and advice.
•
Impact partnership advice: Provide feedback and advice during the development of our collective action list to drive readers towards.
•
Content review: To review the final content in the issue, and provide feedback and advice.
What we're looking for
•
Lived experience and professional/creative experience related to migration, and its intersections with race, culture, and identity in so-called Australia, OR
•
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with an interest in the topic of migration and its intersections with race, culture, and identity in so-called Australia.
•
A passion for multimedia storytelling and social justice.
•
Strong understanding of activism, community-building, and cultural or political advocacy.
•
Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
What you’ll get from us

Remuneration: $250 for your time (approximately 2 hours per month across 5 months).

Amplification: A say in what collective action we encourage readers to engage with for the issue.
Timelines
